Exquisite for a late-night shisha and a tasty bite: Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi @ The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort (8. December 2022)
The “madras curry chicken bao buns (hoisin sauce, pickle cucumber, and carrot)” (75.00 AED) are overall quite delicious. The bite is a rather small one, but it is an enjoyable bite. They have the size of a mouthful and are just perfect in terms of size, but also great in terms of flavour.
The “uchu ceviche (yellow tail, leche de tigre, rocoto chili pure, chulpi corn, avocado)” (95.00 AED) on the other hand is not all too special. Sure, it’s good, and with the chilli, it’s overall enjoyable. On the other hand, it’s relatively basic and far from exciting.
What is quite nice is the “double apple shisha” which is served since the smoke is smooth, light, and very enjoyable. On top of the good food and the nice atmosphere, the place is also great because the service is quite friendly and makes sure you get everything you want and need within no time.
All in all, the Buddha-Bar Beach at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort is a lovely place to enjoy an evening drink. The fact that they close the place by midnight is a bit surprising, though. Other than that, I can absolutely recommend the place.
