A decent executive lounge replacement: Lobby Bar @ Sheraton Lisbon (7. January 2023)
After an almost three-hours drive through Portugal and especially Lisbon, which is quite nerve-wrecking, I was more than happy to have dropped my rental car and arrive at the hotel. And luckily, at 5pm, it was time for the daily snacks in the Lobby Bar (which also turned out to be the Executive Lounge). Compared to a regular executive lounge, you cannot find a buffet, but you’re brought a selection of dishes. And I must say, besides the tortilla, which wasn’t to my liking, the dishes are quite nice.
The place is right next to the entrance, which makes it only semi-appealing. But at least the staff is super friendly and attentive, and makes sure you have your beverages and snacks quickly.
All in all, if you’re eligible for lounge access, I would definitely take advantage of that and get myself a snack in the evening.
