Lovely wine bar to spend an afternoon with good gin and board games: Wine & Bar Lounge @ Hotel Belvédère (2. March 2023)

Since the weather that day was far from amazing, it was time to take a little break from spending time on the slopes, and hit the Wine & Bar Lounge of the Hotel Belvédère. The place is super nice since you have a nice view onto the mountains, it’s inside, so you don’t get to freeze once the sun goes down, and it is a bit spacious, so you have your privacy and big enough tables to even play a board game. On top of that, they have a nice gin menu – I decided to go for the “Amuerte Coca Leaf Gin” (CHF 18.00) with the “1724 Tonic Water” (CHF 6.50), and I must say, that was a good and tasty recommendation.

The next one was a combination I was inspired by but which wasn’t officially recommended – and it worked out so, so. The “KI NO BI Kyoto Dry Gin” (CHF 15.00) with the “Gents Tonic Water” (CHF 6.50) was okay, but far from the experience of the first combination. So, I figured – again – to always ask the waiters for their recommendations if there is none more to try on the menu.

If you’re into nibbles, then it’s a great idea being here around 3:30pm-5pm, since they have a small buffet, where you can help yourself with soup, cold cuts, cheese, bread, and even some sweets. Since there was a large dinner waiting for us, we decided to only have a few bites, but if you’re more into chill and relax in the evening, then this is definitely a good way to stuff your belly. Other than that, the place is also great because the staff is friendly and attentive and makes sure you have everything you need and want.
