A safe bet for business lunch – independent of the day: Restaurant Enja (30. January 2024)

| May 11, 2024 | 0 Comments

The restaurant Enja remains a safe bet for business lunches. Today, I went for the “beetroot lemon soup” (CHF 9.00), which was nicer than I had expected. I like the certain thickness a beetroot soup usually has, but the squeeze of lemon really added to that balance and made the soup even more enjoyable as a starter.

As a main, I went for the “pick perch filet from lake Zurich” (CHF 29.00), which was definitely a bit on the smaller side of things in terms of portion size, but it was delicious in terms of flavour and texture profile.

The “pommes alumettes”, which were served as a side, were nice. Frankly, I have had better pommes alumettes, but they definitely belonged to the ‘enjoyable’ ones. Personally, they could have been a tiny bit more crispy and some kind of sauce or dip could have been served with them, but other than that, they were good.

The staff is friendly and makes sure you have everything you need and want within no time. On top of that, the interior design of the place is actually lovely. So, if you want to make sure you get space for lunch, book your table in advance!
