Still an absolutely good choice for a quick business lunch: Restaurant Kaufleuten (4. March 2024)
It’s a bit ago since I’ve last been to the Kaufleuten, but it remains a good choice for a swift business lunch. This day, I went for the “beef tatar (250gr) with brioche toast” (CHF 38.50), which was actually lovely. The meat quality was great, the butter was enough, however, there wasn’t enough brioche, but luckily, once I had ordered more, it was delivered within minutes, making sure you would actually not have to wait to finish your dish.
The place is nice and functional and it really makes sure you will have everything you need, as the service is swift, and within a few minutes you have your beverages. However, when we speak about the attentiveness, it clearly diminishes over time since there are more and more people having lunch. In any case, although the place is quite large, I would highly recommend you to book in advance.
