A nice restaurant experience with a bit slow service: Restaurant Mux (27. May 2024)

| August 30, 2024 | 0 Comments

The Mux had been recommended to me, so, I decided to give it a try. I went for a light drink called “Atolote! (corn, cinnamon, rum)” (155 MXN), which was a good start into lunch.

I decided to go for the “enchiladas poblanas” (180 MXN), which were rather intense in flavour, but definitely a good start for a first day with Mexican cuisine.

Secondly, I went for the “Gordita bandera” (90 MXN instead of 110 MXN as depicted on the menu), which was quite nice as well, so, my first Mexican food experience during this trip was actually a pleasant one.

The place is simple, but appealing when it comes to interior design. The staff is incredibly friendly, but – unfortunately – a bit forgetful, so you will have to remind them a few times of your orders (e.g., more water, more glasses, etc.). Other than that, the experience at the Mux was a pleasant one.
