One of the best breakfast places I have tried – ever: Restaurant Buenos Diaz (28. May 2024)

| September 2, 2024 | 0 Comments

Given the breakfast experience the previous day was far from amazing, I checked for a breakfast place, which offers a bit more than what we have had, and found the Buenos Diaz, which is specialised in breakfast and had very good ratings. I went for the “tacos de suadero (jugosa res a cocción lenta) (3 pieces)” (99 MXN), which were absolutely delicious. Rather packed and full, but delicious.

Secondly, the “frijoles jalil (refritos con el toque del chef)” (40 MXN) were nice as well – full of flavour! Personally, I would not have needed the chips, but it made for a good dish all in all.

Finally, I wanted some bacon, so the “tocino crujiente (tocino ahumado frito)” (25 MXN) felt like the right thing to try. And I was surprised, man, this was really great bacon. Absolutely loved it. Crispy. Delicious!

And, obviously, you got your salsas with all of that! Just how it should be!

On top of that, the place is nice – it has a very traditional interior, but it is still quite appealing and you feel like you can definitely enjoy your breakfast here.

On top of that, the staff is superbly friendly and efficient – they are really making sure you get everything you need and want.

To sum it up, despite the fact that I’m generally not a huge fan of breakfast places, this is probably among the very best breakfast places I have experienced!
