A lovely place – even during hot summer weather – for a business lunch: Restaurant 1 Komma 7 (27. June 2024)
The 1 Komma 7 is a good place, and remains a good place for a quick business lunch. Especially in summer, when you have the opportunity to sit outside in the sun and enjoy the good weather. The soup of the day was a cold “watermelon soup” (CHF 11.70), which was absolutely refreshing and better than I had expected. But, to be also fair, it wasn’t necessarily the best choice if you have a white shirt. And as a starter soup as an extended part of the menu, I found the CHF 11.70 somewhat expensive.
As a main, I decided to go for the “Rib Eye from the grill (180gr) with Café de Paris & 1Komma7 Fries” (CHF 35.70). The meat was grilled to perfection and the herb butter, which is served with it, was perfect. And the very same is true for the fries with the dip – all in all, a truly lovely combination. Sure, not the healthiest of all dishes you can imagine, but definitely enjoyable.
The staff is attentive and friendly, and makes sure that things are taken care of swiftly. Given the place is quite frequented especially for lunch, I would highly recommend you to book in advance.
