Truly eventful drinks prepared with a lot of dry ice in a Harry Potter themed bar: L’Alchimista (3. August 2024)

| November 7, 2024 | 0 Comments

To finalise the evening, we decided to have a few last drinks in a bar with a good rating and found the L’Alchimista. The name sounded promising and a 4.8 on Google with over 300 reviews as well, so, we entered. Now, the first challenge I felt was the heat and the lack of AC. I mean, there was an AC, but it was too hot for my personal gusto. That being said, it got better throughout the time when we were there.

They have a few classics, their Harry Potter drinks as the ceiling is also Harry Potter themed.

On top of that, there are a few specials like the “Memories Bath (balanced blend of tropical flavours, soft and fresh texture: maracuja liqueur, vodka ketel, takamaka koko rum, mango juice, peach and soy lecithin)” (EUR 11.00), which was super cute, since it came with a small rubber duckie!

The fun bit starts when you start pouring your drink into the bathtub, and the bubbling starts …

… and keeps going until the duckie is completely gone, unless you destroy a few bubbles with your straw. Once the bubbling stops, you’re good to drink your cocktail, and, frankly, it was quite refreshign and nice, so, definitely a drink, which is not only fun in terms of how it is presented, but also tasty.

The place is small, so, if you’re intending to go here, I would highly recommend to book in advance (we were lucky, there was still space when we arrived). The waitress was friendly and super attentive, so, the service is also good there. All in all, definitely a good place for a quick drink before you’re off to bed.
