Delicious breakfast option with a view onto the glacier: Restaurant Gunna á Leiti @ Hótel Jökulsarlon – Glacier Lagoon Hotel (21. August 2024)

| November 27, 2024 | 0 Comments

While the dining experience at the Gunna á Leiti was rather disappointing, the breakfast experience was a rather positive one. Again, given the place had only just opened, the breakfast was complimentary, which is quite nice.  And they offer really kind of everything from bread to different spreads, cold cuts …

… various cheeses …

… to things like paté and smoked salmon …

… a bunch of cereals, nuts, and jams as well as …

… fresh fruit …

… sweets …

… and more sweets …

… up to a variety of different fruit juices.

So, frankly, the breakfast selection was one of the best I had during my Iceland trip. Definitely something enjoyable and nice to start your day with. On top of that, the staff is friendly (still) and the view remains amazing (still). So, this one is a great plus for the hotel (for breakfasts).
