14. October 2011: VIP Lounge @Arion, A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa
While usually the Executive / VIP lounges in Starwood resorts are truly nice, the VIP Lounge at the Arion, A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa is not really that outstanding. The lounge requests no special access but you can just go to the top floor and it is basically located right where the exit of the elevators is.
The only thing which makes the VIP Lounge great is once more the fabolous view you’re having. The view on the sea is absolutely amazing and when you can sit outside it is just marvellous. But the interior is pretty normal.
The selection of dishes is very limited – the only thing offered are different kinds of fish eggs and a selection of sweets. Not that this is not tasty but as a selection it’s quite disappointing.
Overall, if you have access to the VIP Lounge, it is absolutely okay to go as you can at least have a glass of wine or a something to drink, but it is definitely not worth going – besides the view of course.
