A surprisingly swift and delicious option for lunch: Restaurant Le Cèdre Bellevue (9. December 2024)

| March 19, 2025 | 0 Comments

It’s a good 14 years ago since I’ve been to this outlet of Le Cèdre and I couldn’t quite recall how it looked. What it offers is Lebanese food, and a swift option for a business lunch. The offering is relatively limited in terms of available options for lunch, but that ensures swift delivery – and on top of that, the prices are superbly fair.

I went for the “Arayess Lahme (Lebanese bread filled with seasoned kafta, pinenuts, tomato cubes, grilled on charcoal, served with a bowl of yogurt and cucumber pieces)” (CHF 22.50), which was a surprisingly big portion, and quite tasty to enjoy flavour-wise.

The staff is attentive, swift, and friendly. Only when we ordered the second espresso, it took them a while to serve it. Other than that, the Le Cèdre Bellevue remains a good option for a swift, tasty, and relatively cheap business lunch.
