27. April 2012: Restaurant Shis

| May 2, 2012 | 0 Comments

Great location with very good food – that is the restaurant Shis. You are free to pick the table and you should pick a nice one as the restaurant shis is located right next to the shore of the sea – which makes it a pretty beautiful spot.

When you are seated at your table you are brought salted butter and olives – and right away you are served fresh bread.

The “Mix Sushi e Sashimi 22 un” with 1 Salmon Sashini, 1 Tuna Sashimi, 4 Salmon Oshi, 4 different Nigiri, 4 Fozmaki, 4 Spicy Tuna and 4 Kapamaki for EUR 26.00 was very good sushi – fine in taste and it was a nice selection of different tastes. Very good sushi prepared in high quality.

For desert I had ice cream – a scoop of vanilla (EUR 3.00), of lemon (EUR 3.00) and tangerine (EUR 3.50). The ice cream was okay quite regular.

The prices are pretty fair for what you get – a bottle of water costs EUR 1.70, a beer EUR 2.80 and a coffee EUR 1.70. The cover charge is EUR 2.50 per person.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty amazing as you are located right on the sea shore with nice furniture, great view and last but not least, very comfortable atmosphere especially when the sun is shining.

The service is very good – the plates are taken and brought from the correct side, the glasses are filled quickly and properly, the soy sauce is neatly prepared before the sushi is served. Overall, very good service.

All in all, I can highly recommend the restaurant Shis – the place is nice, the view is great, the service is good, the food is good too and the prices are very decent.
