7. May 2012: Restaurant Vapiano

| May 8, 2012 | 0 Comments

When eating regularly at the Vapiano you get tired of the regular dishes so I decided to try the bi-monthly special and went for the “Insalata Tabouleh” (cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, peppers, cumin, sultanas, red onions, lime, mint, parsley, nippy rucola, yogurt dressing, honey and roasted lamb; EUR 7.50). The salad is fresh and quite good and the lamb is tender and yummy. The portion is pretty small though and paying EUR 7.50 is comparatively much for what you get (e.g. compared to a big mista with chicken, beef or king prawns).

There is not much to say about the service but the salad lady is epcially slow – absolutely unbelievable how slow she was. In any case, the place is quite okay, nothing special but in the regular Vapiano design. To sum it up: It’s a Vapiano after all – always safe and sound to go but the bi-monthly special is not that outstanding.
