13. May 2012: Restaurant L’Epicerie @Le Méridien Brussels
The breakfast buffet of the Restaurant L’Epicerie @Le Méridien is quite okay but not overwhelming. The breakfast accounts for around EUR 25.00 (do not exactly know as it was included in my rate, so it is a mere guess). The buffet offers fresh fruit, various kinds of bread, cereals, cold cuts and cheese as well as sausages, bacon and eggs.
The personnel was very friendly although I only came in for breakfast shortly before they officially closed the buffet – I was brought my green tea and my orange juice right away. The only disappointment was that half the dishes were empty so I did not have the possibility to try everything.
The interior is pretty nice and appealing and the chairs are comfortable over all.
All in all, the breakfast at the Restaurant L’Epicerie @Le Méridien is good – definitely fair if you are staying at the Le Méridien anyway but to be honest it is also not that outstanding when you are not staying there that you should go.
