12. May 2012: Belga Queen Club
The Belga Queen Club is definitely the right place to go in the evening. The club is more a cigar lounge – it is the old vault of the former national bank of Belgium. And it looks absolutely amazing. The chairs are very, very comfortable – each chair has its own ashtray and although each chair is next to the other they all provide you with that feeling of privacy. Pretty amazing.
The cigars offered are also pretty nice. A “Cohiba Coronas Especial” accounts for EUR 17.00 and the Planter’s Punch (EUR 12.00) is quite good too. There is no service in the club itself (as it is full of smoke obviously) but the bar tenders are very friendly and helpful. Even when the lounge closed at 2am we were still given about 30 minutes before we finally kind of had to go.
The Belga Queen Club / Cigar Lounge was definitely a highlight in Brussels – extremely great atmosphere, very nice overall! If you like to smoke a cigar, this is the place to be!
