7. July 2012: Bar La Perla Mediterranea

| July 22, 2012 | 0 Comments

Somehow very great place – located right next to the river Tiber is a little wooden patio with cheap plastic chairs and tables. So it is not really the place itself which is appealing but much more its location. The proximity to the river and the possibility to enjoy a shisha (EUR 10.00) there somewhen in the middle of the night where it is so lively and many people are still up, is great and very relaxing.

Unfortunately, the waiter is very unfriendly and the beer is comparatively expensive (EUR 6.00) while water is quite payable (EUR 1.50). There are many small bars and lounges like that close to the river shore and they are definitely worth a visit – if not just go there to see the area.

I was not able to locate it exactly but it is basically located when you walk down to the river shore from the “Ponte Garibaldi” and then just follow the way along the river – you will realize it early enough!
