1. August 2012: Restaurant Bierhaus Machold

| August 6, 2012 | 0 Comments

The “spareribs” (pork ribs cooked with smoked salt and marinated with BBQ sauce, served with potato wedges and cabbage salad; EUR 13.80) are rich – covered by the BBQ sauce the dish is a mess but it is very tasty. The potato wedges are crunchy and well spiced up. The meat is astonishingly tender and in combination with the rich BBQ sauce truly delicious and the price is absolutely fair for what you get (as well as for a 0,4L Kölsch – EUR 3.80).

The waitress did a good job as she was prompt and friendly – doing a good job all along. The place itself is also pretty nice – it has a large dining room inside but as well a nice little patio where you can sit outside. Definitely enjoyable.

Overall, the Restaurant Bierhaus Machold is a nice beer garden – nothing outstanding but fine food for fair prices with a nice waitress in a good atmosphere.
