15. August 2012: Street Restaurant Picadillo

| August 23, 2012 | 0 Comments

Another dish from a typical street kitchen is the Picadillo with rice (40 MXN). It is basically a mixture of minced meat, potatoes, carrots and peppers and pretty simple to prepare – just mix the picadillo with the rice and that is it. It is not overwhelmingly tasty but absolutely good and yummy.

The people preparing it are absolutely friendly and helpful, the price is very adequate because you can feed about 5 people with the picadillo you get for 40 MXN (about CHF 3.00). As mentioned before, try the street kitchens, they are great.
