16. August 2012: Restaurant Châlet Gourmet

Another typical dish of Mexico is a “Torta”. Although a food corner in Six Flags is probably not the best place to try a torta, I must admit it was pretty good. I had a “Torta Cubana” (with ham, chorizo, beef, pig leg, salchicha and cheese from Oaxaca in Parmesano con Rajas bread) for 80 MXN.

The torta is a very heavy but rich dish. And you are absolutely satisfied after having had one as the calories you take in are definitely more than enough. The place I had the torta at was definitely not outstanding – as mentioned in the first sentence, it was in Six Flags.

The personnel was also not really that friendly but at least the price was reasonable. You should definitely try a torta when in Mexico – not necessarily here but you should try one.
