24. August 2012: Champagne Ritual @Altamira Lobby-Bar

| September 2, 2012 | 0 Comments

Yet another ritual taking place once a week is the Champagne Ritual at the Altamira Lobby-Bar. As the name already implies you are located at the top of the resort and have a marvelous view all over the resort – dream-like.

The Champagne Ritual of course includes some necessary items as the champagne bottles themselves, the glasses as well as the most important ingredient (besides the champagne) – the sword to conduct the ritual.

The opening takes place in direction of the sea …

… and with one cut, the bottle is open and the fresh champagne is served to you right from the bottle.

But you do not have to stay alone with your champagne – the St. Regis also provides small amuse bouche which are absolutely tasty – when you are asked which one you want to try, you are tempted to say: I want to try them all (and I almost managed to ;) ).

Service is great, the personnel is very attentive and always at your disposition if you want an additional glass of champagne or even a margharita – which also tastes great. So, while the fish ritual is definitely a great event and nice as you are able to choose your dinner and the way it shall be prepared, the Champagne ritual is absolutely not to be missed as it incredible – amazing view, great food, free champagne and drinks and ideal for mingling with the other guests at the St. Regis.
