26. August 2012: Restaurant Sea Breeze
The “do it yourself hamburger” (Hamburguesa de carne Angus) is absolutely delicious. You can assemble your hamburger the way you want, with cheddar cheese, bacon, tomato, salad, avocado and onions. The angus beef is luscious – absolutely juicy and rich in taste (240 MXN).
The atmosphere of the Restaurant Sea Breeze when you are sitting outside is nice – it is more like a beach bar though and it is quite hot outside and there are too many mosquitos. Besides that, it is absolutely lovely. The service is quite good but it took more than 30 minutes for the hamburger to be prepared and served which is fine given it was delicious but 30 minutes is a bit too long for something as simple as a hamburger. The price is absolutely adequate for the burger. So, if you are at the St. Regis – the burger is a must.
