31. August 2012: Restaurant California

| September 9, 2012 | 0 Comments

The Molletes Combinados (Jamon y Chorizo; 104 MXN) are a great way to start the day early after a heavy night. The mollete is heavy but the combination of Chorizo and Queso Manchego makes it very tasty. The dish is actually quite simple – a bun of bread, ham or chorizo and cheese.

The place itself is pretty shabby but what is there usually to expect of an airport restaurant. The waiter was friendly but also quite slow and the prices are quite heavy for quite regular food. At least the prices for the drinks are pretty okay (Jugo Verde; 43 MXN; Mineral Water 31 MXN). A quick breakfast at the Restaurant California before your flight takes off is okay – other than that, it is not really recommended going there.
