19. September 2012: Restaurant Brauhaus Bönnsch

| September 27, 2012 | 0 Comments

The grilled pork joint (900 grams) with homemade beer sauce, homemade sauerkraut and potato purée (EUR 14.00) looked like it was a lot at first but in the end it was pretty much nothing but a bone. The fries were definitely not outstanding – the meat was good (the little there was). Overall, the dish was rather average – the beer was quite okay (Märzen, 0,25L, EUR 2.25) as well was the wheat beer (EUR 4.50). Water was comparatively expensive though (EUR 5.70 for 0,75L).

The place is quite average – and the service too. The waitress was friendly and brought what we asked for – she did her job, and well. But that was it. The Restaurant Brauhaus Bönnsch – where I have already been once about three months ago – is not the greatest place to go unless you go for “Schnitzel all you can eat” [see review].
