30. December 2012 – 1. January 2013: Restaurant Prinzimini @ The Westin Gaslamp Quarter
Breakfast at the Restaurant Prinzimini is quite okay. For only USD 19.50 you get access to the breakfast buffet. The choices offered at the buffet are rather limited ranging from bacon, egg, waffles, bread, fruit, yoghurt, and cereals. You also get to order coffee, tea, and some juices.
Overall, the food is quite okay. I mean, I have had definitely better and especially the fact that there is no omelette station is disappointing but it is okay. The place itself is fine too – nothing especially appealing but acceptable. The service quality varies depending on the waiter – while the host was friendly, helpful, and supportive, and so were the waiters on the second and third day, the waiter on the first day was not so much and also very limitedly attentive.
Overall, the breakfast at The Westin Gaslamp Quarter is okay and can definitely be taken if you are staying at the hotel – if you are not, then I would personally not really recommend it.
