The breakfast at the Restaurant Tres at the SLS Hotel Beverly Hills is a dream come true. For USD 42.00 you get access to the “Brunch Table”. While the selection is not too large the elements offered are of outstanding quality. There are cereals, fresh almonds, dried apricots, various cheeses including blue cheese …


… and there is chorizo, pepper salami, and iberico ham (jamon iberico) as well as …


… watermelon juice, pineapple juice, and yet another one. Greek yoghurt, yoghurt with fruit, a selection of fruit, freshly prepared jam and fluffy butter. Of course some croisants and sweets are available too. As I said, the selection is not outstanding but the quality of the dishes is truly outstanding. Especially the fact that you get to have freshly cut Iberico ham for breakfast is mind-blowing.


The place is not only great for its actual breakfast but also for its interior. The restaurant is very modernly designed – the whole place is like a large living room. There are several large bar tables in the center and there are various small corners with fireplaces which are nicely decorated like you are in a library. Overall, just great. If you have a choice where to be seated, then choose a fireplace – it is way more private and appealing.


The service is good – all waitresses are very friendly and helpful. When you order something you get your tea and orange juice within a few minutes. One thing which is not enitrely optimal though is the seating concept. As in any other restaurant you can book a table and eat at the restaurant – at the same time, if you are a hotel guest it is the restaurant where you have breakfast. But then you actually have to wait for your table because “externals have a booking before you”. SERIOUSLY???


Other than that, the place is absolutely perfect. The atmosphere is absolutely outstanding, the design is breath-taking, the food is absolutely delicious, the service is good (besides the seating as a hotel guest thing) and the price is rather steep but on the other hand you get amazing food. I can more than absolutely recommend it!
