18. May 2013: Moritz Eis

| June 10, 2013 | 1 Comments

The icecream parlour Moritz Eis was opened about 6 months ago by an Austrian called Moritz – and it is quite a success story. Not only you can find his icecream already in several places including airports but also the icecream he creates is absolutely tasty. I had 3 tastes (290 RSD) and went for “Lemon & Mint”, “White Chocolate” and “Baklava”. While “Lemon & Mint” was amazingly refreshing, “White Chocolate” was sound and good. Now really interesting was “Baklava” as it is something you would usually not expect to be icecream but it is definitely worth trying.

The place is very nice – simply and modernly designed mainly with white painted wood but not also inside it is pretty nice and appealing but also there is a small kind of lounge installed outside where you can take your time, sit down and enjoy your icecream.

The place is always very crowded and you have to queue in order to get your icecream. But the icecream ladies are very kind and friendly! Overall, Moritz Eis is definitely a place you should visit while in Belgrade – if you like icecream of course!
