1. November 2014: Restaurant Roberto’s @ Hilton Athénée Palace
The breakfast at the Hilton Athénée Palace is pretty average. They offer a bit of everything but not really a huge selection of anything. You get a couple of fresh fruit, yoghurt as well as cheese …
… and also some cold cuts and vegetables …
… and of course there is an omelette station. Unfortunately, you do not automatically get the real eggs for your omelette but some pre-made mixture and frankly speaking the omelette is also not really overwhelming.
What they also offer you obviously is some bread and jam …
… but I must admit the service is at least friendly and my green tea was brought to the table pretty quickly after I had ordered it. Overall, it is fine to stay at the Hilton and to enjoy breakfast accordingly but frankly speaking, I definitely have had better breakfast in the past – and the atmosphere is also not really breath-taking.
