31. October 2015: Ristorante La Tecia
The restaurant was recommended to us by locals and the “Tagliatelle con Sardoni e Pomodorini (pasta fresca)” (EUR 12.00) were, therefore, not really the best first impression we got. The pasta was okay but it just lacked a bit of that certain something so you would really say “wow”.

The “Tagliata di Cuberoll di Angus (Irlanda) con rucola pomodorini e grana” (EUR 17.50) was also rather average – I mean, again, overall a dish which is absolutely enjoyable and you can’t really say anything negative about it. But, on the other hand, you can’t say much about positively either. Well, it served its purpose to feed you.

The place is typically Italian, rather small, tight, and the tables are close to each other. So you can definitely sit down and feel cozy. The waitress was friendly and in the beginning very efficient. But somehow when the place got a bit fuller as it was lunch time, the service got confused and suddenly every waiter was responsible for every table – and every waiter for none. In the end, this led to the fact that I had to wait approximately 15 minutes for my “double espresso” (EUR 2.00) which is definitely too long. Overall, the place is fine, it provides good food, has its very own atmosphere but it is not a place I would immediately return to.
