Lovely little hotel with decent breakfast: Restaurant Winery 29 @ The Alex Hotel (4. November 2018)
The breakfast buffet in the Winery 29 in The Alex hotel offers everything you need and want ranging from a selection of different teas …
… to vegetables and yogurts …
… jams and honey …
… cold cuts and cheeses …
… and last but not least eggs. What was missing in my opinion was the bacon. I suppose you could have asked for it but somehow I realized too late that I could do that and was already kind of done with the breakfast. But at least I had asked for an “omelet with ham and cheese” – and it was perfect! Absolutely delicious, soft, fluffy, full of cheese. Just like a perfect omelet should be.
The atmosphere in the Winery 29 is lovely – the tables are a bit too close to each other for my personal gusto but else you feel comfortable. The service is friendly and really tries but has – somehow – a hard time understanding what exactly you want. However, if you stay at The Alex Hotel, having breakfast is definitely a good decision.
