The absolutely perfect location for spare ribs with a view over the mountains: Restaurant Chamanna Naluns (29. February 2024)
If you spend a day on the slopes in Scuol, then there is literally no better place than the Chamanna Naluns to do your lunch stop. What they offer is quite rare to be found in a mountain restaurant – the “spare ribs with French fries” (CHF 27.50) are absolutely delicious. Sure, it’s a simple food, but the quality of the spare ribs is excellent, especially since they are prepared in a huge smoker. The fries are nice and crispy, and they are generous (on request) with the good cocktail sauce too. So, all in all, there is really nothing to complain when it comes to the lunch offering there.
On top of that, the view is absolutely breathtaking. If you come a bit early, and score one of the tables with that view, then you have really done everything right!
The only downside, I find, is that you have to go pick up your stuff yourself, and the tables are not attended. But other than that, if you score the right table, and like meat, then the Chamanna Naluns is absolutely exquisite for a lunch break on the slopes.
