No. 7 of The World’s 50 Best Bars – and rightly so: Limantour Polanco (29. May 2024)

| September 7, 2024 | 0 Comments

This place is the second opening of Limantour Roma, which was just awareded No. 7 of The World’s 50 Best Bars, and I do kind of understand why. The interior is nice and not overly fancy, but definitely interesting. However, they have a few very interesting drinks, like the “Chorizo Verde (Mezcal Creyente Espadín, Tomate verde, epazote, chorizo verde)” (240 MXN), which really creates a bit that flavour of chorizo verde – I must, I loved it.

On top of the great drinks, the interior is nice as well when you sit at the counter of the bar as well as …

… in the restaurant area. So, frankly, it isn’t ‘special’, but it is definitely appealing.

What I liked is that they give you a choice of six special drinks, and then you also get to pick from many more!

Furthermore, the guys at the bar were amazing – super talkative, super friendly, super attentive, and also very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. It is really fun to see people like that working in their job. And if you’re in Polanco, you should definitely pay this place a visit!
