On the Guide Michelin list, but frankly, rather average food: Restaurant RAS (20. July 2024)
The RAS is part of the Guide Michelin, so, I decided to give it a try. And frankly, the location is rather nice – definitely nothing to complain about, since you are seated close to the river, and it’s overall quite lovely. The staff is friendly and attentive, and your beverages are served in no time. I decided to go for the “crispy baby calamari, tartare sauce” (EUR 15.90) and while I loved the batter, it was definitely also rather on the crispy side of things, which was almost a little bit too crispy. But, to be fair, it was nice and crunchy and good with the sauce tartare.
As a main, I went for the “linguine pasta, broccolini & basil pesto, pecorino” (EUR 29.00), which was much better than I had expected, as the pasta was nicely al dente, which I hadn’t expected. The sauce was good, but not necessarily very Italian, but overall okay.
All in all, the RAS was quite decent, as an overall experience, but nothing I would necessarily do again. In the end, the food was too average.
