A great buffet but a run down location, which needs a refresh: Restaurant The Terrace @ The Westin Dragonara Resort (12. September 2024)
What I always like about Westins is the vast buffet selection you have, ranging from literally everything like jams …
… to fresh cut fruit …
… pastries …
… sweets …
… the savoury stuff like eggs and bacon …
… cold cuts and fresh veggies …
… a proper salad buffet selection …
… bread …
… nuts and dried fruit …
… more pastries …
… sauces and spreads …
… as well as more savoury stuff …
… the mandatory juices …
… and some pre-prepared salads.
Frankly, the selection at the buffet is amazing. However, what isn’t so great is the location itself. It feels more like in an overrun tourist hotel than anything else, which is, in all fairness, not great. It’s more like one of these many beach resorts (minus the beach) where you have to make sure that you’ll get a place to sit. And in terms of cleanliness, some of the chairs have stains, which are there for a long time by the looks of it, which just feels shabby. So, as great as the buffet selection is, the restaurant itself isn’t really that inviting.
