A great option for lunch since you get good food for a bargain: Restaurant Le Lyrique (17. September 2024)

It’s a bit ago since I’ve last been to the Le Lyrique, but it turns out to be a popular spot for business lunches, so, I ended up here again. We went for the “menu complet” (CHF 42.00), which is incredibly fair priced! The whole menu started with a “tartare chaud de légumes (condiment de betterave)” – and I was positively surprised by the flavour combination of the different vegetables. The starter was actually absolutely tasty! And the portion was much bigger than I had expected.

As a main, I picked the “linguines aux 2 saumons (pesto de roquette et ricotta salata)”. The ‘two’ salmons were basically just two different stages of salmon, i.e., a smoked one and a cooked one. The pasta was good since it was al dente, and, all in all, the combination was quite tasty. And what surprised me most was the generosity of the dish (it was quite a portion).

Finally, it was time for something sweet in the form of a “petite brioche façon Tropézienne”, which was basically a bread filled with vanilla – and it was delicious!

The staff is friendly, swift, and more or less attentive. But given how full the place was, the service was absolutely good! So, to sum it up, you get a good bargain at the Le Lyrique for business lunch – good food, enough food, nice interior, good service, and all of it for a fair price.
