Decent lobby bar, but definitely nothing more: B Lounge @ Penha Longa Resort Ritz-Carlton (25. December 2024)
The B Lounge at the Penha Longa Resort Ritz-Carlton is located right next to the lobby, which makes it a rather noisy place, but other than that, it’s quite fine. I went for the “Citric Basil (gin, basil, lime juice, sugar syrup, foam)” (EUR 12.00), which was nice and refreshing – plus, the guy who prepared it was jovial and friendly, making you feel welcome here.
You’re also served a few nuts, which are quite nice and give you a nice balance with the drink.
The place itself is, besides its suboptimal location, quite fine in terms of interior design and appeal. However, what isn’t so great is the fact that if you come at a certain point in time, it’s majorly busy, which means every waiter is doing something, and it takes them quite a while until they’re ready to take your order.
So, all in all, the B Lounge is okay, but only if you have a bit of time to bridge before dinner, else, not really a place I’d frequent often.
