The breakfast selection in the Mercatto in the Penha Long Resort Ritz-Carlton belongs to the better ones I’ve seen in a while. It starts with a selection of different cereals, which is quite generous …

… by a whole bunch of different pastries and breads …

… yogurts, fruit juices, and milk …

… fresh fruit as well as salad ingredients ranging from corn to tuna to beetroot to olives to many more …

… more pastries and doughnuts …

… an egg station where you can get your ham and cheese omelet …

… as well as jams and honey from the honey comb …

… special breads for the gluten intolerant …

… as well as bacon, veggies, and sausages …

… and a whole selection of cold cuts, butters, spreads, cheeses, and salmon, topped off with freshly cut fruit …

… and last but not least your toasting station.

So, whatever you want for your breakfast, you’ll get it here. The place is simple, a bit busy, but else fine in terms of interior, and the staff is generally friendly and professional, although, the quality varies from day to day.
