Remains a solid choice for playing cards: Restaurant Werdguet (12. March 2025)
In all fairness, I’m always only here when we play another round of cards with friends – and I often go for the same like the “tomato, mozzarella, bacon, onions salad with garlic sauce” (CHF 14.00), which feels somewhat overpriced, but at the same time also offers a tasty mash-up of flavors.
The “veal liver with roesti” (CHF 35.00) was surprisingly good, but felt a bit small as a portion. In any case, overall, it was enjoyable.
Generally, the staff is friendly and attentive, however, their new guy isn’t fully up to the task yet. You can somewhat spot that there is a bit of learning and training to be done for him to be fully up to speed. In any case, the Werdguet remains a good place for a round of cards.
