A surprisingly positive dinner experience where I hadn’t expected it: Restaurant Bank (11. March 2025)
It’s ages ago since I’ve last been to Restaurant Bank – and in the context of work, I ended up here again. We decided to go for a few different starters like the “tuna tartare (avocado, pickled onions, mango)” (CHF 19.00), which was quite tasty as a combination of flavors, but seemed a bit too expensive for the size of it.
The “burrata (pomegranate, parsley, mint, lemon)” (CHF 16.00) was quite tasty as a bite – but not entirely optimal to share really.
As a main, I decided to go for the “crispy sesame chicken (cucumber salad)” (CHF 19.00) with “polenta bites (truffle dip)” (CHF 11.00) and I must say, it was definitely one of the best choices on the menu. The flavor profile of the chicken was great – and the polenta fries as a side worked a charm too. So, this is definitely something I can recommend here.
On top of it, the staff is friendly and attentive – and despite the fact that the place was still superbly busy, they managed to serve us in no time.
