Apparently the best breakfast buffet of Bilbao – not so sure about it: Breakfast Restaurant @ Hotel Ercilla de Bilbao, Autograph Collection (11. April 2025)
When I checked in, I was informed that the buffet breakfast in the Ercilla de Bilbao is the best buffet breakfast in town. Now, I cannot judge on that since I haven’t tried all the buffet breakfasts in town, but I find it a bit of a stretch as a statement. I mean, sure, they have a ton of different ingredients and dishes ranging from cereals to yogurt …
… to cheeses, cold cuts, and salmon …
… jamón …
… fruit juices …
… freshly cut fruit …
… as well as eggs, bacon, sausages, …
… tomato spread and guacamole …
… a bunch of different breads …
… jams, honey, and pastries …
… but calling it the best buffet breakfast in town seems a bit off. I mean, all the food was good, the staff is actually superb and very lovely, but honestly, already from an atmosphere point of view, I wouldn’t necessarily come here for breakfast. Food is good, and definitely great if you stay here, but it’s not something I would travel for.
