A very touristic place not really worth visiting: Restaurant Pod Věží (17. May 2025)

| June 17, 2025 | 0 Comments

After a 2.5 hours walking tour through the city when it was rather windy, we decided to sit down somewhere to drink something and have a small bite. The place is not really a place I would return to, since the overall atmosphere is stuffy, very packed, and it’s mega touristic. On top of that, the waiter is – admittedly busy – quite inattentive, and it took him quite a while to finally show up at our table to take up the order, and even then he wasn’t able to remember everything so we had to ask twice to get the bottle of water.

In any case, I decided to go for the “goulash soup served with crispy Prezel” (195 CZK), which was overall fine. I mean, far from fine dining, but it was warm, it had flavor, so, it wasn’t bad to warm up after the long walking tour.

All in all, personally, I wouldn’t visit the Pod Věží again, since it’s too touristic for my personal gusto.
