A good option for a swift Greek business lunch: Restaurant Ynos (7. July 2025)

| July 23, 2025 | 0 Comments

It’s quite a bit ago since I’ve last been to the Ynos, but given I was working in the vicinity, I figured it might be a good opportunity to give this place another try, and I must say, they have a good lunch offering. I started with a “sweet potato soup” as a starter, which was quite nice.

As a main, I went for the “mousaka (eggplants, minced beef, béchamel)” (CHF 29.00), which didn’t look too appealing at first, but it turned out to be actually absolutely marvelous in terms of flavor and texture – and it was also enough, which is something I had not expected when I first saw it arriving to my table.

The staff is friendly and attentive and the place is setup functionally. So, all in all, you get quite decent food for fair prices in central Zurich – and all of this in a friendly way and swiftly. Booking in advance for lunch is more than highly recommended, though.
