A lovely balcony and a swift lunch offering – but nothing more: Restaurant Astra (16. July 2025)

I have never been to the Astra, but to the place, which was previously located here, so, that’s why I felt like I had been here before. They offer a small selection of lunch offerings, but those are prepared and served superbly swift, which makes it quite perfect for a business lunch break. Part of the menu was a “starter salad”, which was actually quite lovely and generous as a starter salad.

As a main, I decided to go for the “fried noodles on teriyaki sauce with panko prawns” (CHF 25.50) and while I was quite skeptical about what I would get, it turned out to be quite tasty. Sure, the panko prawns were not the most generous thing on the plate, but overall, the dish was fine, and all of it was served in swift speed.

So, if you’re looking for a place to enjoy your swift business lunch on a balcony, then the Astra is actually quite a good choice – just make sure to book your table in advance, and specifically request that you want to be seated on the balcony.
