A safe bet for lunch – especially when you get to sit in the sun: Restaurant Miss Miu Europaallee (17. July 2025)
Frankly, when you’re close to Zurich main station, the Miss Miu Europaallee is kind of a safe bet to enjoy something nice to eat for a very fair price. I decided to go for the “Korean fried chicken (boneless, glazed with Gochujang-Ssam glace, topped with grated Parmigiano Reggiano, served with a garlic dop)” (CHF 15.90), which was a bit small as a portion (for the price), but turned out to be quite enjoyable and, frankly, something you can absolutely enjoy. So, as a starter, it’s quite fine.
Since I was, subconsciously, in a state of “I wanna eat Korean”, I also went for the “Korean fried rice (fried rice with kimchi, egg sunny side up, china leek, spring onions, cucumber stripes and sriracha mayo)” (CHF 19.90) with additional “pork belly” (CHF 4.00) and while this is definitely not something easy to eat, i.e., it’s prone to ruin your shirt, it was absolutely tasty and enjoyable.
The atmosphere is simple but overall nice – and the staff is friendly too, but if you go for lunch by 1.30pm, then the staff is not as swift as they are during the actual lunch break. So, if you want speedy service, I recommend you to come earlier – in any other case, the Miss Miu Europaallee is a place I can recommend.
