A swift business lunch in a hidden garden area: Restaurant Antica Roma (11. August 2025)

| August 26, 2025 | 0 Comments

I’ve been to this place a couple of times – but almost always during the cold season, so I wasn’t aware that there is a little garden area hidden behind the house – and that is where you can sit outside and enjoy your lunch. The place isn’t too atmospheric, but it is definitely not as busy as on the street, and all in all quite relaxing. I went for the “insalata di pollo, avocado e mango” (CHF 32.00), which was good in terms of flavour profile, however, the chicken was a little bit too tough in its bite (at least for my personal gusto).

The staff is friendly and swift, so, you have a positive experience for a business lunch – efficient, fair in price, and overall not too bad in terms of atmosphere either. Make sure to book in advance, though, as the place is rather busy.
