Quite a decent place for a swift dinner: Restaurant Klimenti’s (13. August 2025)
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from the Klimenti’s, as the place was rated high on Google, but somehow it also didn’t look all too appealing on the homepage. However, given it was close to where I was and had a good rating, I figured, I’d give it a try. Once you’re seated, and you’ve placed your order, you’re brought a little surprise from the kitchen in the form of a “cold cucumber soup”, which was actually nice and refreshing.
The idea was to share a bit of something to eat, and we went for a “hand-cut beef tartar with shallots, herbs, and truffled egg yolk” (EUR 23.90) and while I was a bit skeptical of it, it turned out to be actually quite tasty and enjoyable!
As a second starter, we decided to have a “creamy burrata on grilled antipasti vegetables with a rocket bed, and a herb rocket salad pesto” (EUR 16.90). The combination of the antipasti vegetables with the burrata was actually quite nice and worked well – and the quality of the burrata was good too.
As a main, I decided to go for the “grilled salmon filet with home-made tagliatelle on a lemon dill white wine sauce” (EUR 35.90). While it all looked a bit, tone in ton terms of colours, it turned out to be quite tasty. There could have been a tiny bit more sauce to it, but other than that, it was quite delicious.
So, all in all, the food in the Klimenti’s is actually quite good and enjoyable – so, definitely something you can do when you’re hungry in the evening and in the vicinity of the place. The staff is friendly and superbly attentive, making sure you have everything you need and want at all times. The only thing I would question a little is the atmosphere – when you’re seated outside, it doesn’t entirely feel like the perfect place to be, to be honest, since it is along the street and that is, in terms of atmosphere, not too great.
