Great Southern-style BBQ for a very fair price: Restaurant Brisket Southern BBQ & Bar (14. August 2025)
It’s more than a year ago since I’ve last been to the Brisket, but it felt like a good place to get a good load of different tasty meats. So, we went for the “Grand Slam Platter (brisket, sausage, pulled pork, pork spare ribs, shredded chicken, pork belly) (ca. 540gr)” (CHF 54.00 per person) with “Mac’n’Cheese” (+ CHF 3.00) and “coleslaw”, which really offers everything you could want when it comes to Southern-style BBQ. The brisket is incredibly tender and you just want to eat more of it. And that is somewhat true for all of it. The only thing I didn’t find quite as great was the mac’n’cheese. But other than that, definitely something I can recommend.
If you want to sit outside on the terrace, I would highly recommend you to book a table in advance as it is rather challenging to find something in summer. The staff is friendly and give or take swift – depending a bit on the moment you ask them for something. All in all, the Brisket Southern BBQ & Bar is a good choice for a meaty experience.
