If you want to get a paella overload, then this is the right place: Restaurant Maná 75 (15. August 2025)

To visit the restaurant was a recommendation of a friend, hence, I was quite curious what to expect. And frankly, I was positively surprised. The place is rather simple, but you find everything from locals to tourists – which is usually a good sign (the locals, not the tourists). That being said, it’s crucial that you book a table in advance, as else you won’t have a chance to score a table on short notice.

We started with an “Andalusian style squids with Kimchi mayonnaise” (EUR 15.50), which were nice. What was even better was the “Chef’s razor clams au gratin” (EUR 16.50) as they were aromatic and highly enjoyable.

Given, we were a larger group, we decided to go for different types of paella, since that is kind of their signature dish, and picked the “seafood paella ‘senyoret'” (EUR 24.50 per person), which was superbly nice. The rice was nicely aromatic, however, there could have been a bit more of a crust. And the fact that the prawns’ heads had already been cut off, made it much easier to eat.

Next in line was the “squid and mussels black paella with smooth garlic mayonnaise (alioli)” (EUR 22.50 per person), which did not only look interesting, but as also highly enjoyable – that sepia flavor really added to the experience, and it definitely felt like something you want to enjoy quite a bit. And I did.

Given we had someone in the group who isn’t a big fan of seafood, we had to find another solution and added the “chicken and shrimp paella with green asparagus” (EUR 21.50 per person), which is, let’s say, less typical for Spain. However, given we kind of ‘had to’ pick that one, I must admit, it turned out to be better than I had expected.

The staff is superbly friendly and also relatively swift, meaning, they are doing a good job. So, if you’re into paella in Barcelona, then I must admit, the Maná 75 is a great place for exactly that. Booking required.
