Perfect for a quick pit stop with a beer: Restaurant Bar Central (16. August 2025)
Given we decided to wander the market located close to Las Ramblas and somehow were a bit hungry from the previous night, we figured, it wouldn’t be too bad to eat a bit of something and fight the aftermath of it with a beer. So, the Bar Central turned out to be a simple place to do exactly that. We went for the “Iberian ham croquettes” (EUR 6.40), which were quite fine – and came with two nice sauces.
Given, it is a bit tastier to have actual “Iberian ham” (EUR 20.00) instead of the croquettes, we went for that, and I must admit, although you wouldn’t really think so when you see that little bar from the outside, it turned out to be quite nice.
The place is simple, and it’s not like you want to spend hours here, but for a quick stop, it’s quite perfect.
