A place I love to return to due to its quietness and peacefulness: Restaurant Batuar @ Cotton House, Autograph Collection (16. August 2025)

I’m not sure if you can officially just walk in and enjoy something to drink on the Batuar terrace, but I figured if we just did, they would surely not turn us away – and they didn’t. I had the “Mediterranean Smash (Bombay Sapphire, Gin Mare, Cordial Mediterraneo, Albahaca Fresca y Sorbete y Clemetina)” (EUR 16.00), which was great and absolutely refreshing, so, the perfect drink for outside temperatures of 34°.

While the terrace is quite perfect in terms of peacefulness in the green, you need to be patient as they are definitely not the swiftest in preparing the drinks.

However, while some are rather on the slower end of things, some of the waiters are superbly friendly and attentive, and make you feel really welcome here. So, if you’re lookign for a place to cool down and enjoy a good drink, then the Batuar is definitely a great choice.
